Terms of Use

1. Purpose

ProposalForge is an online SaaS letting independent consultants generate, customize and share AI-assisted business proposals. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the service.

2. User account

The user creates an account with a valid email and password. The user is solely responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for any activity performed from the account.

3. User responsibilities

The user agrees to: (i) provide accurate information; (ii) review every generated proposal before sending it to a client; (iii) not use the service for illegal, fraudulent, defamatory activity or spam; (iv) respect third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy.

4. Intellectual property

The user owns the content they create or publish via the service (proposals, contacts, logo). ProposalForge retains all rights to the platform, its interfaces, code and brand. The user grants us a limited hosting and processing license solely to provide the service.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as-is" and "as available". We do not warrant that AI-generated content is error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. The user alone is responsible for verifying content before any commercial use.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProposalForge's total liability to the user, all claims combined, is capped at the amount actually paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses (loss of revenue, clients, data, or business opportunities).

7. Termination

The user may cancel their subscription at any time via Stripe or email — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and is non-refundable. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Personal data (GDPR)

Personal-data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection — exercise them by writing to malo@proposalforge.tech.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 15 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute regarding their validity, interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to mandatory consumer rules.
